Amy Haywood has more than five years of experience as a commercial real estate attorney representing clients in various transactions, including the acquisition, development, leasing and disposition of commercial real property. She also has experience in closing 1031 tax-deferred exchanges.   • Represents lenders and borrowers in the consummation and modification of loans, including loans for development of commercial and residential property.
  • Managed multi-property due diligence reviews, including serving as counsel in a health care company merger transaction valued at several billion dollars with a portfolio of over 250 skilled nursing and assisted living facilities.
  • Represented various owners and developers, including a major power company, a major quick-service restaurant company and a not-for-profit foundation providing inner-city affordable housing, in their acquisitions and sales of fee simple and easement interests in real estate.
  • Represented a telecommunications company in its acquisition, leasing and subleasing of ground and tower space including system equipment upgrades and equipment standardization issues after company mergers.
  • Represented borrower in a loan refinancing of leasehold interests in multiple commercial, office and retail buildings in downtown Atlanta.
