She also has experience in closing 1031 tax-deferred exchanges. Amy has managed multiple-property due diligence reviews that included analyzing and organizing title commitments, tax reports, surveys, and environmental reports and resolving various title and survey issues. She also has experience assisting lenders and borrowers with the financing of real estate development projects. Amy has assisted clients with solicitations, offerings, and sales of securities, incluing preparing private placement memoranda.

Managed and closed multi-million, multi-property acquisition for large construction materials company, including title and survey due diligence review, purchase documents preparation, and funding responsibilities.

Managed multi-property due diligence reviews, including serving as counsel in a healthcare company merger transaction valued at several billion dollars with a portfolio of over 250 skilled nursing and assisted living facilities.

Represented various owners and developers, including a major power company, a major quick-service restaurant company, and a not-for-profit foundation providing inner-city affordable housing in their acquisitions and sales of fee simple and easement interests in real estate.

Represented a telecommunications company in its acquisition, leasing, and subleasing of ground and tower space, including system equipment upgrades and equipment standardization issues after company mergers.

Represented borrowers in loan refinancing of leasehold interests in multiple commercial, office and retail buildings in downtown Atlanta.
